Uncompromising
Curiosity
Bridging inquiry and creation across engineering disciplines.
Bridging Curiosity & Creation
Science Club ASIET empowers students to build hardware, write software, conduct experiments, and publish open-access findings before graduation.
“Science is not a spectator sport. It demands participation, execution, and continuous inquiry.”
Passive Theory
Confining science to textbooks, static lectures, and exam grades. Students study discoveries made by others, rarely given the tools or freedom to make their own.
Active Creation
Treating every curiosity as a project. We build hardware prototypes, write open-source software, test hypotheses, and publish peer-reviewed papers together.
Our 5 Non-Negotiables
Click through each principle to explore how our values shape daily research, project funding, and club culture.
Curiosity First
Every question is worth asking. Intellectual curiosity is celebrated, never suppressed.
We encourage questions that break conventional course boundaries. Whether exploring quantum computing, autonomous robotics, or synthetic biology, curiosity drives our agenda.
2025 – 2027 Targets
Our mission is defined by measurable objectives. Here is how we track our infrastructure buildout and student impact over the coming three years.
Open-Source Repository Initiative
Launch centralized public GitHub organization for all Science Club projects, hardware schematics, and research codebases.
Student-Run Fabrication Lab
Build a dedicated campus facility equipped with 3D printing, PCB rapid prototyping, and sensor validation benches.
Semesterly Peer-Reviewed Papers
Establish a pipeline enabling at least one student-authored research publication per semester in recognized journals.
Statewide Inter-College Science Summit
Establish the largest student-organized inter-college science & engineering festival in Kerala.
Mission in Practice
The ultimate test of our philosophy is the real work created by our members during their time at ASIET.
“Joining Science Club allowed me to stop just solving practice exam problems and start building actual embedded hardware. Within six months, our team prototyped a modular environmental sensor array.”
Ananya Nair
ECE '26 & Hardware Lead
“I thought publishing research was only for PhD candidates. Here, senior members guided me through dataset preparation and paper drafting. We presented our ML paper in our third semester.”
